What a lovely and relaxing place to stay! The room was clean and comfortable, and the host was so friendly and helpful. We were pleased to find a large meeting/dining area where we could play cards, and also enjoy a delicious breakfast prepared by our host in the morning. The area is beautiful and bucolic. We enjoyed our stay here very much!

Loa’s Nest was perfect for our stay. Very nice clean, modern rooms and a great shared kitchen we could use for meal prep. The hosts made waffles for breakfast with their homemade rhubarb jam. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Location is good for exploring the golden circle and southern Iceland.

Perfect guesthouse with nicest people

Nice guesthouse, very clean in a dark area great for seeing the northern lights. Owner was super nice made us pancakes in the morning. Has a full kitchen.You can cook your own meals plenty of cookware etc. Of our 10 nights in iceland at diff places, loa's was one of our favorites.

Wonderful place in a very quite location, only 5 km from the main road. The property has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Ingi and Unnur were great hosts. We really appreciate their attention to detail and kindness. The cherry on top: Waffles for breakfast ❤️
