We arrived really early from the States to check in at hotel but check in isn’t until 3 pm? The hotel staff went out of there way to help us get to our room asap.Young lady running the restaurant was equally helpful? We initially arrived to early to check in she allowed us access to restaurant for beverages and breakfast which was over the top. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Awesome experience in customer service and great hospitality. Highly recommend.
All the rooms are different which makes them interesting. Comfortables beds, though pillows could be softer. Free bottle of champagne in suite was nice surprise. Loved the tea and pressed coffee set up in room for mornings or chilly afternoons. A steamer in the closet is better than ironing board. I have stayed in several different hotels in Amsterdam. This is the best hotel for the average person -- noting I am sure there are some nicer hotels that would cost $400 a night. This hotel is perfectly located between the Museum Quarter, the old section, next to Rembrandt Square, very close to the mile long walking mall, near other great shopping streets. The property is unique. The commons areas are welcoming and convenient. We stayed here to be close to the art museums, and if you can dodge the bikers and trams for a five-eight minute walk, you will love the experience. The cocktail spread was all we needed for that evening meal, though we did find nearby restaurants that were fun. Breakfast at the hotel was delightful. Most wonderful was the kindness of the lovely women running the hotel. We felt welcomed in Amsterdam thanks to them.

Really the perfect hotel for the museum tour, in easy walking distance to all of them. The canal is lovely and quiet, tons of busy restaurants in a 4-5 block radius, lively night-life, friendly, busy, fun. Lobby recently renovated and very enjoyable with a view of the canal -- the breakfast service is superlative. What's not to love? If you stay, book a panoramic room, you won't be disappointed.
The location of this hotel is perfect. Easy to walk to tourist attractions but far enough away that it’s quiet and peaceful. Added bonus - they have a cat that we were able to pet!

We found our home away from home at the NH Amsterdam Noord! The hotel was very accommodating, comfortable, and provided all of the necessities we required. Since we were driving this trip, we need a hotel with a car park and preferably at no additional charge. The NH had an ample sized lot with plenty of spaces.
