Very nice quiet place few steps from the beach and beach bars, good hotel bar with very friendly staff. Room basic but clean, bed super comfortable. You can rent e-bike with sufficient range. Easy to walk to the center of the town or beach.
Everything was perfect. Property is beautiful and staffs are kind. I enjoyed fitness and sauna too. The only drawback is checkout time at 11am is a bit too early. Hope it is 12pm.
Great hotel; it may be old but it wears its age well. (Old in this case doesn't mean dirty or frayed at the edges). Quiet room, very soft comfortable bed. Food in the restaurant, especially dinner was very good with very good steaks available; breakfast was adequate as a little more variety would be nice. Very friendly and attentive staff in the hotel, always a sincerely warm greeting when I passed by the front desk.
This was our best hotel of the trip. Very clean and the amenities were great.

Very nice hotel, close to airport, clean. My only complaint is my booking included the breakfast buffet but we were charged for it ($28 apiece). That’s not good customer service.
We arrived really early from the States to check in at hotel but check in isn’t until 3 pm? The hotel staff went out of there way to help us get to our room asap.Young lady running the restaurant was equally helpful? We initially arrived to early to check in she allowed us access to restaurant for beverages and breakfast which was over the top. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Awesome experience in customer service and great hospitality. Highly recommend.
I booked the room to get some rest during a 13-hour layover and although this property was a bit further from the airport than I originally thought, the hotel was clean and staff friendly.
The next morning I found the hotel was within walking distance of the commuter train that took me right to the airport and I made my flight home without issue.
Loved the stay the hotel was clean and everything was great. The staff was very helpful! The location is good and the train station is 2 min walk. There are convince stores and coffee shops located close to the hotel
Hotel Estherea is a beautiful place, with a fabulous location, great staff, clean, breakfast is great and the cookies,flavored waters and coffee machine are over the top. There are fresh flowers, gorgeous chandeliers and very comfortable sitting areas. It was a real treat and I would go back in a minute.
All the rooms are different which makes them interesting. Comfortables beds, though pillows could be softer. Free bottle of champagne in suite was nice surprise. Loved the tea and pressed coffee set up in room for mornings or chilly afternoons. A steamer in the closet is better than ironing board. Room was quiet for outside noise, but some mechanical noises but not awful. Room service was good and Janz was excellent for breakfast and dinner. Area around hotel was great boutique shopping. The property is unique. The commons areas are welcoming and convenient. We stayed here to be close to the art museums, and if you can dodge the bikers and trams for a five-eight minute walk, you will love the experience. The cocktail spread was all we needed for that evening meal, though we did find nearby restaurants that were fun. Breakfast at the hotel was delightful. Most wonderful was the kindness of the lovely women running the hotel. We felt welcomed in Amsterdam thanks to them.
