All the staff very professional and very nice

Beautiful resort, lovely lodge, pristine bay. The only downsides were the very poor wifi signal in our two treehouse rooms, and the unpleasant - verging on surly - attitude of our receptionist, Haydee. She had a disinterested approach to our request to understand why the wifi didn't work, and then treated us like we were just a bother to her when we explained that our request had gone hours unaddressed. After spending the day and evening in San Juan del Sur we decided to spend the night. We found this gem on Expedia at 9pm and reserved it. To our surprise, we had booked a beautiful large villa overlooking Nicaragua's lovely country and the ocean. The villa was nicely decorated, multi-level with a balcony and patio, spacious, quite and clean. We loved it so much we stayed another night. I highly recommend Villas de Palermo Hotel.

Before booking I read several negative reviews. My experience was much different. I found the staff to be friendly and kind (it sounds like most of the staff was replaced about a week or two before we got there). Food service is slower than food service in the US, but that is typical in Nicaragua and everything was fresh. The bungalows are fantastic and the private beach was incredible. I highly recommend this place.

The Apartment was beautiful

We stayed one night but it was great! We are staying at a villa nearby and kid the daily resort fee to enjoy the nice amenities! Very nice. Would love to come back again

Such a comfortable quaint property right off the beach. beautiful pool area , Food was delicious, Everyone was so nice. I wouldn’t suggest staying here if you’re looking for a party atmosphere . I had an amazing time learning to surf with “Pro” aka Elyin , getting a massage in my room and just sunbathing by the pool . I will say the only thing that I wasn’t prepared for is the fact that my room had no TV , kind of threw me off guard and I’m the type that likes to fall asleep with the TV on ,...

This is the second time we stay at the hotel. We love how quite and close to the beach is. The restaurant is the best in the area, with variety of meals and drinks. Staff is super friendly and open to help.

Very clean room, cold AC, full kitchen and easy access! This resort is a work in progress as they are building out the rooms but the completed rooms are excellent and great. Nice staff with easy access to motorcycle rentals, beach, etc!
