"We had a few rooms booked with a group of 12. The rooms were great, comfortable and spacious. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful whenever we needed anything. Rooms were clean, the restaurant was great, and all in all a great location for us, for our purpose of stay. Thank you to Heather (the greeter of all greeters) friendly, helpful and personable."

"Lovely place filled with the charm of an old inn but with updated elements like AC and a mini fridge in each room. The staff is incredibly warm, friendly and helpful. The delicious included breakfast on the screened in porch with beautiful views and hummingbirds flitting all around is the perfect start to a day of hiking, exploring or whatever your Cape Breton adventure brings."

"We stayed here for one night during our road trip and had a pleasant experience overall. The room was clean, well maintained, and very comfortable. A big plus was the central air conditioning, which worked great and made the room very comfortable after a long day of driving. The only downside was that there isn't any food available on-site. While this wasn't a major issue, the nearest restaurant closes fairly early, so you may need to drive a bit if you arrive later in the evening. Having breakfast available in the morning would also be a nice addition, although it's certainly not a dealbreaker. One small suggestion would be to provide the Wi-Fi password in the room. I had to ask at the front desk, and it would be more convenient if the information was already available for guests. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. It was a comfortable place to spend the night, and I would definitely consider staying here again if passing through the area."

"Room was modern and clean. Beds pretty comfortable. Room was too dark even with all the lights on. Overall really good value for the price and location. Would stay here again."
