Lovely place set in the mountain away from the noise of Cinqueterra. Michael and his wife and their staff were just awesome. Their restaurant was fabulous and an amazing breakfast was included. We had a first floor room so no steps yay! Michael made a great fire in the pit each night . A beautiful courtyard to enjoy drinks by the fire.
This eco-friendly hotel is a hidden gem. The house is comfortable and clean, situated in the mountains. The couple that run the hotel are AMAZING. They were very much on top of supporting our family while we stayed there.

Hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. They even helped us make advance dinner reservations at the popular Levanto and nearby Cinque Terre restaurants. Breakfast buffet was great. Room was small by U.S. standards, but that's to be expected in Europe.

To start communication was prompt and comprehensive. This out of the way hotel with its own private garden is far from the sounds of the city center and just a 2 minute walk from shops and dining. The room was clean and well laid out and the service was first rate. I was concerned about not having cell coverage to connect to their system, however it was not an issue. Highly recommend Pensione Sorriso for a stay in Vernazza. Evelyn was a wonderful host and went beyond expectations in helping us enjoy our stay. The hotel has a bright breakfast area/lobby and a nice patio/garden to enjoy. We stayed in a room with a private bath and balcony. Although no sea view from the rooms, there is one from the patio and the sea is only a two or three minute walk from the hotel.

We stayed at Nazionale in Levanto for 2 nights and had an excellent experience! The location is ideal... close to all the stores and restaurants, short walk to the train, and a 3 minute walk to the beach!! The breakfast in the garden is incredible (the best we had in our 9 days in Italy!). The rooms are very clean and spacious. The staff is so accommodating and eager to assist.
The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast spread fresh and tasty. The rooms were clean and having a balcony was a delight. We were grateful for the skilled shuttle bus drivers taking us up and down the winding hill down to the village.
We could not have asked for a better place to stay. The host was so incredibly hospitable, generous, and kind. He gave some fantastic recommendations for local sites that we otherwise may have never seen. The room was clean, cozy, and had plenty of amenities. Breakfast was delicious, and the view was even better. He even went the extra mile to pack us a lunch with our breakfast leftovers to take with us on the road. I can’t recommend this B&B enough!
The room was large and comfortable. We had an amazing view of the water. The online pictures were very accurate. We had large glass doors opening out to a beautiful view and we left them open all night to enjoy the fresh air. The complimentary breakfast was quite good with a diverse menu. I would enjoy staying here again!
