Fabulous all around. Only slight issue was that our shower and tub were very very slow draining. This did not present overflowing problems or any adverse effects, but it was just something to be aware of in case the water level did get too high. This was my first visit to Italy. Hotel positives: (1) Walking distance (for us 15-30 minutes) to many major attractions including the Parthenon, Colloseum Forum, Trastevere, piazzas, Trevi Fountain and Vatican. (2) Helpful staff (they even printed out our boarding passes). (3) Well stocked complementary breakfast. Beds were comfortable. Get the map from the hotel from desk. It was better than any of the store bought maps that we brought with us.

The staff and hotel is everything you need in Europe. It is not an American hotel. If that is your expectation stay in the states and stop trying to Americanize your experience. Breakfast is different it is European. Same as my travels in Scandavian countries. If your able to embrace Europe this is best hotel for the money.
