My stay at the Hotel L’Orologio Roma was perfect. This small hotel is centrally located, providing walking access to many of Rome’s treasures. The room and interior spaces appear to be newly redone. The watch/clock motif adds special charm. The staff were uniformly helpful and fluent in English. This hotel has a stunning rooftop cocktail bar/restaurant with views of central Rome. Fabulous all around. Only slight issue was that our shower and tub were very very slow draining. This did not present overflowing problems or any adverse effects, but it was just something to be aware of in case the water level did get too high. I encourage you to stay her a few nights in a row as it is just an amazingly beautiful place with lovely hosts.
Although my taxi driver from Rome got lost even using the gps. Cant beat the incredible views and it was ideal for summertime and sunset. The hotel itself is older but its well maintained. The lake is absolutely lovely for swimming. Breakfast was also very good.

Felt safe in the hotel. Only drawback is the area around the hotel is not nice so we usually took taxis. However I recommend this hotel.
We stayed here for 5 nights and had the most amazing time! The staff was very helpful and the room was gorgeous! The hotel was very conveniently located and was within walking distance of almost everything including the Trevi Fountain and the Colosseum. My boyfriend took me up to the rooftop garden on one of the nights and proposed in front of a stunning view of Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore! It was such a magical trip!
