Had an amazing stay with my daughter. Wanted a place outside Rome to chill and see Castel Gandolfo and this was perfect . Alexio ( the lady ) sorry I misspell the name and Leornado were just perfect , helpful and kind . Even all the other staff we met during our stay including the restaurant girls during breakfast. Beautifully situated hotel overlooking lake Albano offering excellent views. There is a seasonal rooftop outdoor pool as well as an inside pool/solarium. No restaurant for evening meals but well presented continental breakfast included. It's only a 10min walk to the charming old town with lots of restaurants and cafes etc. Also a short (but steep) walk to the train station. Unfortunately, there weren't many guests when we stayed and the hotel felt a little lacking in atmosphere. The main terrace and solarium areas were reserved for an event and not available to us during our stay. Our room window glazing panel was permanently steamed up obscuring the fabulous view and the rooftop pool appeared unfiltered and missing tiles. Overall, great location, friendly and attentive staff with magnificent views but needs a little maintenance here and there.

What a gem!! We had a lake view room and it was beautiful! The bed was super comfy, the shower was spacious and great pressure and everything was very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful and a great breakfast. Then, the rooftop pool!!! A very classic yet not at all stuffy hotel. I can’t wait to go back. Just a short walk to the main square in town and the train station is not far.

The property had stunning views, the staff were lovely but we hoped the pool had been a little cleaner (it did have a robot pool vacuum but it didn't reach all spots). Rooms could do with a safe. Overall we'd definitely return.
