The hotel was tucked away in a small town just outside of Montefalco. The rooms (including bathroom) were very large and decorated to the hilt. The owner makes the pastries (about 6-8) every morning. They have a wonderful dog, Pepo on premises which is very friendly and affectionate. We tried the restaurant and it was good as well. Service was impeccable
What an amazing stay, from the very beginning we knew this place was special. Paul helped us upgrade our room to one with a breathtaking view and made our stay so extraordinary! We were made to feel like family from the moment we arrived, all of the staff was so friendly and helpful and the restaurant, Ceci, is like no-other! We are definitely coming back and cannot recommend this place enough!

It is off the beaten track on a small winding road from Orvieto so somewhat stressful to get there, but worth the effort! Hotel dei Duchi in Spoleto offers a wonderful, quiet stay with a great location for sightseeing that is very walkable to all the main historic attractions. The property is spotlessly clean and making it the perfect retreat after a day of exploring the town. The breakfast buffet is excellent with a fantastic selection of delicious options to start your morning. Best of all, everyone on the staff was remarkably friendly, helpful, and accommodating throughout our entire visit.
