The view was amazing! The only negative would be no parking. With that being said…. The view and friendly staff makes up for it!

Lots to do within walking distance. From restaurants to the marina with all the beautiful boats. We enjoyed great food and wine during our stay and took the ferry to Montarro and Monterosso for the day. Took the train back. Cinque Terre is easily reachable for day trips from this location.

I would definitely stay here again the room was very clean and comfortably. The breakfast was out standing. The owner (hostess) was very knowledgeable of the area and give us very good tips on what to see and how to get around (bus, train, hiking and ferry). We had a great time exploring the area.

The place lives up to its name of “luxurious room”. The room is recently renovated and is modern, clean and well provisioned, even with slippers. It is located near the cruise ship pier and has restaurants nearby. The host is extremely gracious and hospitable. He not only waited to welcome us well into the night but also drove us to the Castle when we could not find a taxi to go there. The interaction with him left us a wonderful memory for La Spezia.

Magnificent secluded setting with spectacular views. Fabulous infinity pool and jacuzzi. Close to trails. Be prepared for steep climb from town that gets old Breakfast was plentiful and ok. Room is simply adequate. Shower quirky. Beach within walking distance and includes chairs/umbrellas.

Beautiful hotel with a million dollar view. We splurged for three nights at the Grand Hotel Portovenere and are happy we did. Best location in this beautiful town though one scould argue that it is hard to go wrong anywhere in Portovenere.
