If you're going to stay in this area of Bali, this is the place to stay. To be honest, I don't know if it is truly a "5 star" resort as it doesn't come close to the Ritz Carlton-level, but it is a really nice place.

Gorgeous small hotel in a very pretty village. The family that runs the hotel were extremely nice and helpful. Doing a half day tour of the market and a waterfall was a highlight. There’s a non-touristy waterfall a short walk from the hotel. A very special place.

This hotel was perfect if you book the private pool villa which is highly recommended for couples. Our room was perfect kinda in the back so it was quite, but still close to the beach and to the Lippo mall walking distance. We had trouble with our for not locking twice and the staff took care of it quickly. The negative aspects were the slow internet in our room and the loud music at night. We had super long flights and a 15 hour time difference so we went to sleep early.
