We (myself and young daughter) stayed in a villa with a pool and valley view and loved it. You really feel like you’re transported to a magical Balinese wonderland here. The attention to details is apparent. The staff is so lovely and service is impeccable. The monkeys made our stay in this particular room very interesting, but don’t stay in a valley view room if you’re not keen on some rambunctious morning visitors. They make an excellent natural alarm clock.

The staff at Ayung Resort are unbelievable, they cannot do enough for you. The room is very clean, it is cleaned every morning, the mini bar is restocked daily and there is a nightly turndown service. The breakfast that is included is very good. You can order as many different dishes as you like. We had a room with a private pool which was very well kept and had stunning views overlooking the jungle and had lots of visits from the monkeys. The private dining experience at the restaurant was well catered for by the staff and very reasonably priced too. The spa facilities are great. Would highly recommend staying at this resort.

Blown away by it so next part isn't to negalate this. Main problem communication ,we didn't know afternoon tea is included so instead of getting to hotel spent it outside ( afternoon tea not great and no vegetarian options) . All the facilities not explained and due to jet lag /heavy wedding never got to grips with geography of hotel and got lost ...not enough signs to location of rooms especially. However after first day didn't bother walking ..just called buggy. Massage excellent. Breakfast for vegetarian cooked selection limited however still excellent. Staff ...amazing , treated like king.

This hotel is beyond description, its beautilly decorated surrender by a thick rain forest. Its very peaceful, perfect for relaxation. The restaurant is exquisite. They offer room service, afternoon tea, happy hour, a spa, and a beautiful swimming pool. The staff is unbelievably professional, always genuily willing to attend to your needs. I am actually going back after spending 4 nights in Nusa Penida. Just came from a visite to Australia, let me tell you, you would spend 1/3 in hotel and food. I just love the value of what's offered here in Bali. I should have done it years ago. Love it love it.
