Air con situation was a pain, we called to check the room had air con before booking they said yes so we booked then got to the hotel and were put in a non air con room. We asked to move to an air con room and they moved us so had no idea why they didn’t put us in that room in the first place. I wouldn’t book here again as clearly can’t rely on whether you will get an air con room or not. Everything else was good apart from this situation but it is off putting."

Staff were very helpful, although it appeared that there were often too few of them, and were a bit overwhelmed. Room was typical Ibis, reasonably basic, pod style bathroom, but clean and great value for money. Breakfast was okay, food could have been warmer, but no real complaints, it compares with other hotels in this price point. We have relatives in Brighton, and will use this hotel for future visits."

"We had three nights in the Spa Hotel and we had a very comfortable room on floor 3 with pleasant views out on the extensive grounds of the Hotel. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful. The Orangery is a pleasant place for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is plenty parking. Overall an ideal place to stay in Tunbridge Wells."
