The Joiners Arms
10/10 Excellent
"My only suggestion would be a toilet brush in the bathroom. I can never understand why they are not in every bathroom."
Marshall Meadows Manor House
8/10 Good
"A lovely stay at this hotel. Highlights were the staff and the breakfast service (charming and old school). The room was decent, though parts of the hotel looks slightly worn (the stairwells), but nothing a lick of paint would not fix; would stay again. The grounds looked impressive."
The Amble Inn - The Inn Collection Group
10/10 Excellent
"Wasn't sure what to expect but one of best surprises on my trip... Great room big room and (accessible) bathroom ...food great parking great all my boxes ticked"
Bailiffgate Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Mum and I had a lovely 2 night stay at the Bailiffgate hotel. The hotel was beautifully appointed and clean. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. The food was really good and the staff attentive. Our twin room was clean and perfect for a 2 night stay. I’d definitely recommend this hotel."
The Bamburgh Castle Inn - The Inn Collection Group
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely hotel, perfectly situated next to the harbour. Although our room was a bit small and looked out to a small yard where the laundry was kept, it was clean and modern. We didn’t try the restaurant but the bar was good and there was outdoor seating to enjoy the views out to sea. The only downside would be the prices but it was school holidays and in a prime location. Also, the car park was very small necessitating in a big cost to pay for parking in a local public car park."
The Oaks Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"This was a very convenient stopover for me travelling back from Orkney. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I was also taking the opportunity to visit Barter Books - The Oaks is just a 5 min walk up the road and oh so convenient !!"
Hillcrest House Bed & Breakfast
10/10 Excellent
"Fantastic location. Very comfortable. Great custom breakfast. Mark was very helpful and made us feel welcome. We had the top floor suite. Private bathroom."
The Garden Rooms
8/10 Good
"Loved the quirky style and hot tub. Really lovely bedding and towels. Less happy to have the breakfast delivered 2 hours early!"
The Castle Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Enjoyed my stay friendly staff clean tidy bar and room"
