Staff really stood out! They were lovely and helpful. I messaged to say we were arriving before check-in so would there be anywhere we could get changed/leave our bags so they did our room first to ensure we could get in it on arrival! A wonderful stay in this beautiful location. Rooms spotlessly clean and comfortable, friendly and efficient staff throughout. We had a warm welcome and a simple check in, our room was ready on time and it was a great, characterful space. Wonderful Temple Spa toiletries to try, soft and comfortable mattress for a great, peaceful night's sleep. We were in a room next to the pub, did not hear any noise at all, with parking right outside. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful, lots of hot and cold options to suit all requirements, served up again by a friendly and efficient team. We ate in the pub, the fish and chips are out of this world, but on this visit we tried the seafood platter, which was excellent. Lots of different options, the food coming from the kitchen all looked wonderful and the place was very busy - I would recommend booking a table if you are planning to eat here, or you may be disappointed! All in all, 10 out of 10 and we will be back just as soon as we are able, bringing our pooch with us, as the place and the people here welcome dogs warmly. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We booked the tweed which is a fantastic self contained room with a garden and barrel hot tub! That went down a treat for our mini moon! The decor is always quirky and stunning! We love being minutes from the beach. The only thing that lets it down is the supplementary cost for breakfast that used to be standard and felt like a real treat, it’s quite basic now and the breakfast coffee machine is awfully weak - the nespresso machine in the room is actually better. Seat covers in the dinning room could do with being changed as the leather is cracked and not so comfy to sit on. Overall loved our stay, like last time and we would come back again!
