George Hotel, BW Signature Collection
"I have been thoroughly impressed. One of the best hotels I have stayed in. The check-in process was seamless with 24 hour staff on hand. The whole decor of the hotel is wonderful, simple but tasteful. The room was spacious, well set out, clean and enough plug sockets, sometimes an issue in other hotels! The best shower I have ever utilised, instant hot water, fluffy towels, what a joy. Good blonds and thick curtains meant no invasive light! Most of all no irritating appliance lights to blind you all night. The bar was well stocked, pleasant airy bar area, welcoming staff throughout. We didn't dine in so cannot comment on the meals served but the menu looked appealing. Breakfast was amazing, from the help yourelf breakfast of continental, to the menu of cooked items. The full English was freshly cooked, hot and varied, the porridge was plentiful, again hot with a choice of honey or syrup or fruit and extras from the continental choice. The car park had ample space, close to city centre without it being too busy or noisy. Definitely will be returning."
Dunston Hall Hotel, Spa and Golf Resort
"Lovely, grand building, fine interior and set in nice grounds. A bit of a free-for-all at breakfast but good food, nonetheless. Quite a long wait for evening meal to be served. A lovely place but didn't feel quite as exclusive as it looks. We didn't use the spa but people were complimentary about it. Obviously a good place for a golf weekend and also located near to the park and ride."
Park Farm Hotel & Leisure
"Top hotel we have been to 5 start service on a daily basis. The spa was great and all the staff were helpful for all our needs. Would highly recommend and will be returning very soon"
Holiday Inn Norwich by IHG
"Accessible room. We love the spacious room with a fridge (so useful for some medication). The room was clean and stocked with basic tea, coffee and milk. The bed is a double. We would prefer a king-size but there would be less space around the bed. The mattress was very soft and not supportive. It was awkward, as people with reduced mobility, to sit on the side of the bed...my partner slid off. Also the bedside tables are tiny. More space is needed for medical equipment used at night plus a socket on each side of the bed is necessary. This is obviously specific to our medical needs and generally the room and stay was excellent. The food was also fantastic. The continental breakfast was great and dinner was very good. Staff were so lovely and helpful. The only thing missing was sliced lemon (or similar) to go in the G&T!"
Sprowston Manor Hotel, Spa & Golf
"It was disappointing that the spa is advertised to close at 8pm but guests are asked quite rudely to leave at 7:35. That doesn’t really leave any time after check in to use the facilities especially since dinner also ends at 8"
Wayford Bridge Inn
"Room upgraded to cater for disability food good staff very helpful."
