Hotel Bannatyne Darlington
10/10 Excellent
"The room was very clean with coffee and tea making equipment Fresh towels on the bed and the room was aired with an open window There was also use of a fan Breakfast was self serve but had to ask for fried or poached eggs. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. Lots of free parking spaces. The only down side was check in was 3pm and we were 20 minutes early and they would not allow us to check in which was a bit unfortunate for us as we had to be at a function in town and had no where to change. I explained this so I had to change in a disabled toilet and take my things with me."

"Great hotel with very helpful staff, lovely bar and restaurant. Our room was big and spacious and very comfortable. The leisure facilities were across the way and subject to their opening times and restrictions so we didn't get to swim when we wanted. Would stay there again."

"We had a lovely stay at the Fox Hall Inn. Great food lovely staff and a peaceful setting. We stayed for three nights and our room overlooked the countryside and good spacious carpark. Our breakfast was brought every morning in a hamper and left outside our door just let the staff know what time. Great stay would highly recommend"

"We had a lovely two-night stay at this beautiful hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The hotel has been decorated so beautifully, and the new owners have done an amazing job creating such a stylish and welcoming atmosphere. The rooms were lovely, comfortable and beautifully presented, and the surrounding area was absolutely beautiful too. We also enjoyed the food, but the breakfast was definitely a highlight it was absolutely amazing! You can really see the care and effort that has gone into making this hotel special. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it. We look forward to returning!"

"We were shown to our room which was a good size with a large bathroom. Fresh milk available from the fridge on the landing for a cuppa. We had dinner here,very tasty chicken and salad on flatbread. Our breakfast was also lovely,freshly prepared and good quality. Cereals,juices and toast available along with a full English or other options. A comfortable bed and plenty storage space for those staying longer. A quiet village location. It's a Community owned pub so nice to contribute to it's continued success. I would recommend it for looking round this area."
