Purdy Lodge
8/10 Good
"Staff really helpful, rooms a little dated and tired Breakfast was excellent. Hotel just needs a little bit of TLC."
The Tempus at Charlton Hall Estate
10/10 Excellent
"Varied properties around sumptuous grounds, we were in the farm cottage. The stairs leading to a room were narrow but worth it as the room was beautiful and comfortable with even a pod coffee machine and bathrobes. There was a beautiful garden and it was a short walk to the lake. Breakfast was very tasty. All staff very helpful and welcoming."
Black Bull Inn
10/10 Excellent
"All the staff we met were friendly and very helpful. Our room was lovely, very clean and had a whirlpool bath which was immaculate. Breakfast was great and they even managed to give us veggie sausages despite minimal notice. We really enjoyed our stay."

The Garden Rooms
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful last minute night away ..... hot tubs aren't usually our thing but it was clean, covered and secluded so had a lovely time using it. Could do with some mats or something putting down to help clean feet when you are getting in and out. But apart from that .... we had an amazing night together."
