The rooms and hotel are quintessentially Scottish! Every inch of the property makes you feel like you have stepped back in time. The breakfast room serves perfect country breakfasts and the restaurant next door is high end fabulous and worth the price. Dalhousie Castle is the ideal place if you're looking to stay in a castle in the Edinburgh area. It's about a 20 minute taxi ride from the city center which is just far enough to be out in the peaceful Scottish countryside. The castle itself is absolutely beautiful, and sits on grounds that are equally so, with archery, falconry, and several great walking paths.

Amazing mansion conversion into an event center and hotel. And there is even a lift to get you up to the top floor! Breakfast was generous and cooked to order. It was somewhat difficult for me to find using GPS. Needed to ask for help at the Tesco petrol station.

This was my second stay at Voco Haymarket. I want to say how utterly marvelous the staff are. Super polite, helpful, capable, professional from front desk, house keeping to breakfast waitstaff. I think it is one of the best hotels I have stayed at because of the staff. It's also spotlessly clean, quiet with a wonderful breakfast buffet. Great restaurants nearby and an easy walk to the tram. It will always be my first pick when staying in Edinburgh.

Excellent trip from start to finish. We arrived early, but the rooms were already ready. And we got a fantastic upgrade! The concierge helped us plan out our sightseeing for the following day, as well as made a great dinner recommendation and reservation. Drinks and food at Peacock Alley and the Caley bar were excellent. The service was wonderful - I wish I could remember all the staffs’ name who assisted us. Thanks for an excellent stay!
