Very easy to find with ample free parking. Friendly staff and everything needed for a pleasant stay. The room was small but comfortable and very well stocked with coffee/biscuits and even a microwave and fridge. Ideal for exploring the area with lots of good restaurants and pubs within walking distance.

Lovely building in a great location. Very handy for us to get to events in and around Edinburgh as well as enjoying time in Linlithgow also. Room was immaculate and very comfortable with everything we needed. Hadn't realised there weren't onsite facilities such as a cafe / bar or restaurant, but plenty of choices on the doorstep. Would definitely recommend.

Absoloutely spotless apartment. Set in a historic building but well maintained and modern. All amenaties needed including mini kitchen area with fridge & microwave. Fabulous location to travel into Edinburgh as only 15 mins by train & 8min walk to train station. Safe for solo travellers. The only slight negative is there wasn't always somebody at the desk if you did have a question however ring the bell & somebody would appear. Would highly recommend

The Linen Bank has been tastefully converted into an apartment hotel. The room we had was very clean and well equipped with microwave and small fridge that would take 6 bottles of wine in the door plus two shelves and a chiller unit for salads. The fridge also has a small freezer compartment. The bed was comfortable and the shower was excellent with good water pressure. Whilst it did not bother us be advised if you are on the front on the property there is noise from the road due to the cobbled road surface. Parking is off road and to the rear of the Court Residence about 75m from Linen Bank. The station is 5 minutes walk away and direct trains into Edinburgh are frequent and quick. I would thoroughly recommend Linen Bank.

What a beautiful town! And the hotel/ apartments are right opposite the castle and town hall. These are more like serviced apartments than a hotel as the reception isn’t manned all the time and there’s no breakfast, but it’s a stunning old building and the room was super modern with a kitchen unit so if you wanted to do cook or have your own food in for breakfast you can. The staff were lovely too, you just need to let them know when you are arriving. Only thing about the room I would say all the modern colourful lighting was slightly unnecessary and difficult to navigate, but I would highly recommend staying here
