Excellent location…clean and friendly. Only challenge was that food wasn’t always available during the day. We worked around it, but would prefer the hotel works around our schedule vs the other way around. Regardless…top notch location, and we would stay again.

Amazing accommodation - quiet, clean, great location in a beautiful French town away from the bustle of Strasbourg. Nathalie is a wonderful and kind host. Hope we get to return in summer to enjoy the outdoor space. The family unit is good for a smaller family. We are 2 adults and one child 7 yrs old. My wife and I enjoyed our two night stay at the Hotel Dontenville. The room was very clean and comfortable. The host was very friendly and informative. We had one evening meal and two breakfasts'. We really liked the breakfast. The fresh baguette was awesome and the croissants melted in your mouth. If we return to the Alcase region, we will defiantly stay her again.

Along with our college-age son, we spent two wonderful nights here on a weekend site-seeing trip when he visited us after our recent relocation to Europe. The hotel is ideally situated in the middle of the quaint town of Saint Hippolyte making it an ideal location to start exploring the town on foot or by car to the other nearby beautiful towns; the wonderful Chateau du Haut Konigsbourg is very close by but is definitely a drive-to location as it is on top of the high ridge overlooking the town....
