We loved staying at this property. The hotel common areas and rooms are beautiful and the staff is very helpful. Fresh bottles of water are delivered daily. The hotel lobby is lovely and having 2 Michelin star JYS in the building was a bonus. Proximity to old town was perfect. Close enough to walk daily without being in the middle of the crowds.

Our room had recently been redone and was beautiful! It was very spacious and had a gorgeous shower. People should be cautioned, however, that it is open to the room and when sharing with someone other than your partner can be uncomfortable. The staff was very helpful in suggesting restaurants and with any other questions we had. The hotel is located right in the heart of Colmar and is convenient to all. Breakfast is included with delicious pastries and breads, but no hot food is available....
I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff was unfailingly polite and friendly, and the hot and cold breakfast buffet was astonishingly vast with something for everyone, from vegans to meat eaters, pastry/bread/carb lovers, tea aficionados and coffee fans. I was fond of the chia seed and coconut milk pudding, which I topped with red and black currants, raspberries and blackberries and sometimes walnuts and granola. Colmar is a lovely town and Le Colombier is a great place to stay while exploring it. The hotel is near the old town and is interesting and quirky. The staff was helpful and the breakfast, while expensive, was varied and tasty.
This property is the epitome of a European fairy tale. The staff was wonderful and friendly. I was worried about the fact that I have almost no French language ability, but the staff put me at ease immediately. They made sure we understood everything we needed to know and gave us great tips for visiting the Christmas markets.

I was skeptical about this booking due to the mixed comments but we liked it the most out of any of the hotels during our trip. Super convenient because of the kitchenette and very practical. We have some dietary restrictions so this is something which was much appreciated. The area is safe and walkable, the staff is friendly, we enjoyed our stay.
The hotel was close to the train station and just a short walk to Old Town Colmar. We only stayed 2 nights but with the amenities could have stayed longer. We loved it.
Nice hotel located within walking distance to downtown. Rooms were nice but I found some how uncomfortable that the toilet was separated from the sink and shower. One have to cross the room to get from the toilet to the sink and shower. I also think that they need more night staff. What I could observe was that the guy in the reception also had to take care of the bar am dinner. iHe was a busy guy!
