Our stay at “au pays de Jacquou” was absolutely wonderful. Somehow remote, but also close enough (7 km) to Thenon, the village where we attended a wedding. Staff (the owners themselves and their little daughter) was very helpful and very kind. It happened that they were invited to the wedding as well! So cool! We had such a wonderful stay at La Sarlamandre. Our hosts, Stéphy and Séb were so kind and welcoming from the start. The rooms are very clean and feel brand new. Breakfast was delicious with homemade jams and cake. Everything was so perfect and their attention to detail made our stay so comfortable. We really felt at home. We were so sad to leave and wish we could’ve stayed longer! Merci beaucoup!

Truly an amazing place to stay. If you want to stay in a very old hotel, you will not be able to beat this, maybe 800-900 years old? They have put a lot of effort into updating this place to make it work as a hotel. The only effort that was lacking (maybe my view because I'm American) was that the room didn't have AC. Mais néanmoins bien situé proche des transports en commun,metro pour l aéroport et les tramways pour les différents sites de la ville. Chambre grande et bien équipée même si la décoration est light. Pdj de qualité de standard international. Le restaurant est agréable en terrasse l' été,mélange de cuisine locale et internationale. Personnel agréable et réactif, problème de climatisation réglé rapidement.
