We found this gem on our way south and so glad we stayed. The couple who hosted us were so kind and accommodating. The breakfast was wonderful. The view from the pool was incredible. It is a quiet town so there’s not much around but the city of Sarlat was wonderful. Sunday market is a must!

We had such a wonderful stay at La Sarlamandre. Our hosts, Stéphy and Séb were so kind and welcoming from the start. The rooms are very clean and feel brand new. Breakfast was delicious with homemade jams and cake. Everything was so perfect and their attention to detail made our stay so comfortable. We really felt at home. We were so sad to leave and wish we could’ve stayed longer! Merci beaucoup!

Tres Superbe! We enjoyed our stay at this incredibly beautiful B and B. Located hillside overlooking the beautiful pool and natural view beyond, 5 km from Sarlat. Our room was super clean and gorgeously decorated, lush towels, crisp sheets on super comfortable bed. Extremely modern, efficient details (remote for the blinds), garden doors out to your own patio pool side. Our hosts were warm, welcoming and lovely. Breakfast was beyond excellent, home made brioche, breads, preserves, yogourt, fruit and hot drinks. This B and B is more like a first class resort and we wish we could have stayed there longer. Next time!

Nous sommes entièrement d’accord avec les autres avis positifs sur cette chambre d’hôtes. Le seul bémol que nous avons trouvé concerne la souplesse des horaires et des règles, qui nous a paru un peu trop stricte. Nous sommes arrivés à 13h12 au lieu de 16h, ce qui est effectivement de notre faute, mais nous aurions apprécié qu’on nous propose simplement d’attendre autour de la piscine et de revenir vers 16h, plutôt que de nous sentir “en dehors des règles” et de repartir. De même, le départ impératif à 10h30 rend la matinée un peu juste, surtout si on souhaite profiter calmement des lieux. Il nous est aussi arrivé d’oublier une serviette de piscine (pourtant indiquée dans la salle de bain), ce qui peut arriver à tout le monde. Pour nous, une chambre d’hôtes, c’est aussi un peu “comme à la maison” : on peut avoir un oubli, arriver un peu en avance ou en retard, et s’arranger avec l’hôte. Ici, nous avons trouvé l’ensemble très rigide, presque trop pour ce type d’hébergement. Malgré cela, le séjour s’est bien passé et nous reconnaissons la qualité des lieux et de l’accueil. Un peu plus de flexibilité rendrait l’expérience encore plus agréable.

La piscina con vista sulla valle circostante, in cui si rispetta la gente con cui condividi il luogo è una chicca. Stefy è una cuoca eccellente e assieme a Sebastien ti fanno sentire ospiti graditi.
