A beautiful very short drive from castle. The country road is picturesque and the hotel is very nicely remodeled.

Lovely small, modern hotel located close to the ancient city/castle near Carcassonne. Clean and quiet. Pool and hotel restaurant are very nice. Service was excellent. Helpful staff. Owner was present as well. Friendly and helpful. Nice restaurants within driving distance, but not walking district. Hotel located in what has become over the years a somewhat industrial area. Originally, it was in the countryside.

Wonderful, beautifully restored canal-side hotel with quirky artifacts and decor. Super-friendly host welcomed us and helped us to check in before directing us where to go to the medieval castle. We were provided with a list of recommended restaurants for the evening. Breakfast the following morning was superb, served in a lovely courtyard.

Loved the location. The AC didn't cool very well. It was set at 16 and only reached 24. Great receptionist.

Iris and BJ were wonderful hosts. In advance of our visit we communicated about our diet (vegan family) and they were able to provide us a nice breakfast every morning. We visited the area during warm weather and the swimming pool ended up being a refreshing part of our stay during the late afternoon hours.

We had a great stay here. Our room was clean. The staff were very friendly and quite helpful. The breakfast options were substantial. The bar and restaurant were good and reasonably priced. And we really appreciated having a pool to enjoy on a hot day. I would certainly stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at La Citè Carcassonne, the car par is just outside, and the baggage porter gave us a ride up to the property, being inside the Castle walls will give you a unique feeling of connection to the past

The hotel is very clean and very convenient to Carcassonne castle. Enjoyed the AC. Only one of the staff spoke English, but it wasn't really a problem. All the staff was helpful. We were there for the start of the Tour in 2026. We ate breakfast in town, so no review of their breakfast. The only real issue was with parking the car. Their key system made it a bit awkward to get into and out of the parking area. If traveling to Carcassonne Castle, I would 100% recommend this hotel.

This hotel was wonderful. Carcassonne is a special town and the hotel exceeded our expectations. It is located at the base of the castle with excellent views of the castle and surrounding hillsides. The restaurant offers an open-air experience, and we enjoyed happy hour wine in the evening then a lovely breakfast in the morning. The room itself was the best part - eloquent yet comfortable. We will stay here again when we visit Carcassonne.

Lovely hotel in the walled city of Carcassone. Great setup for parking since you can't park in the city. They have a special parking lot where you leave your car and they have car service to pickup you and your luggage and deliver you to the hotel. Private event in their dining room when we were there but they made reservations for us in a lovely restaurant a few door down (Comte Roger) and was one of the best of our trip. Lots of restaurants and shops within the walled city. Great...

Great location. Right across from the medieval city. Easy walk to the town center. Staff was exceptional!

The property is clean and calm. The location is great, just a couple of minutes walk from the castle. The manager, Anthony, was very polite and helpful in all our needs, even helped to fix our car. Very pleasant stay. Highly recommended.

Arnaud and his wife were helpful with parking, recommendations of sites to see, served delicious breakfast. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable. The location couldn’t be better. Definitely a great choice for visiting Carcassonne.

The absolute best location outside the city walls, you are literally right outside the old city walls. Staff was super friendly and offered to carry ours bags to our room and gave hand written suggestions for restaurants without asking. Our stay was very reasonably priced as well. We saw the bad reviews some left before booking and laughed so hard when we arrived and saw the reality. Those reviews must have been from old fat people with silly expectations....it was 3 to 4 times as nice as we...

The room was very large which was great, but a tad worn. the decor was fun. The night desk staff person was very welcoming and a delight. There is a lovely cat outside. Parking onsite was convenient and the walkable location to La Cite was perfect!

Our stay at Demeure Saint Louis was a highlight of our trip! We would stay there again in a heartbeat. The house is historic and beautiful. We stayed in one of the apartments (one king bed bedroom and two twin beds in the main room) and it was spacious, perfectly clean, and very well appointed. The beds were very comfortable, the bedding, towels, and kitchen linens were high quality, plentiful, and comfortable. We were there during a heatwave, which tested the AC, but it kept up!
