"We spent two nights at Hotel Kakola over the Mid-Summer break with the family. The hotel was unique and the atmosphere was welcoming, and the rooms were modern, clean, and well-designed. Our stay included breakfast and the hotel offers plenty of variety of options . The staff was friendly and helpful. We also had the chance to relax and enjoy the SPA with additional charge. Overall we have enjoyed our stay at Hotel Kakola and I recommend it to anyone looking for a special experience in Turku."

"We had a superior floor with river view (the 7th floor) and the view was really amazing. Unfortunately there are some construction works on the other side of the river just now (July 2025) but it didn't disturb very much. Our room was very spacious but elderly. There aren't any roads near riverside rooms. We heard some music from nearby restaurants but our sleep quality was very good. "We specifically stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment. It was immaculately clean and quite spacious. It wasn’t quite walking distance to the downtown areas we had planned to visit, but it was always easy to find a rental scooter at the hotel. The lobby shop was nicely stocked with coffee and simple breakfast items. We didn’t use the pool and spa facilities because we were in town to see family, but it looked very nice."

"Kaunis paikka, hyvin siivottu. Kuitenkin saunat jäivät mysteeriksi ja alueen palvelut ja meininki olivat jotenkin autioituneen paikan oloisia. Infoa rantasaunousta ei tullut. Olimme jotenkin vähän yksin autiossa lomakylässä. Se tuntui tylsältä. Ilma oli aluksi kylmä ja sateinen eikä ketään missään. Kiersin isoa rakennusta enkä ollut löytää avainpaikkaa, kunnes kysyin neuvoja ohikulkijoilta. Ilmat paranivat ja Turussa oli tekemistä. Asunto oli kiva ja sauna hyvä sekä lämmityskaappi tuli...
