Two friends and I stayed here before the Lost City trek. The hotel is beautiful, has a lovely rooftop deck serving delicious meals, is very well located and the rooms are large and comfortable. The staff is outstanding; they were not only friendly but incredibly helpful on our return from the trek. They called the airline for us to change flights, stored our luggage, and provided extensive advice. Couldn't be happier about this hotel and would stay again!

Overall nice hotel. Right on the beach! It is a taxi ride to Rodadero or Santa Marta, so you can't just walk a block to buy necessities so that's a little far inconvenient. The service in the restaurant is very poor. I talked to the head chef about it he apologized and sent a birthday cake up to the room for my wife. Very thoughtful. I think next time we will get a hotel in downtown Santa Marta the city is so picturesque! STAY AWAY FROM RODADERO that place is. Cesspool!
