Muy buen hotel, situado en calle peatonal muy turística, y con acceso por carretera a 100metros. Nos quedamos en una habitación con terraza, y super bien, tranquilo y limpio. Además te hacen la limpieza de ropa gratis, todo un lujo hoy en día.

On checking in, we were told that we were booked in the Garden Tower, which was an old structure from 1987 and showed its age, and were encouraged to upgrade to the Valley Tower, that was only a few years old. I was surprised at such a significant disparity in the condition of the two towers, especially at the Shangri-la. Was in China for a week, spent the first two nights in Beijing prior to leaving to Chongquig on business. Chose the JW Marriott because of the location. Short cab ride to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. The JW Marriott Central exceeded my expectations for cleanliness, staff training, and modern decor of the room. The electrical outlets in the room even accommodated US electrical outlets. On the way back from Chongquig, stayed at the JW Marriott again and upgraded to an executive suite....

My stay was good. I would like to give a special thanks to the staff Wu Yan who work as a room cleaner on the 19th floor. During my stay in room 1934, she was very kind, responsive and helpful.

Excelent hotel with a superb location. The only thing to improve could be the attention at the front desk wit a better attitude towards the guests and a better command of the english language.

My husband and I was very impressed by the exceptional services provided by Kobe who worked at the concierge desk. He not only negotiated the seats with the ticketing office for the " Kong Fu Legend ", a show that I highly recommended, but he also arranged the transportations without charges. The car was waiting for us right after the show finished.

The hotel is good, clean and comfortable. Breakfast ample. WiFi not that good, slow and restricted. Knowledge of English of the staff should improve. Though they use an on-line translator, it would be easier to make understand directely.

It was 1 am, and after being sent to a different hotel for my layover (reserved by the airline), and finding it inhospitable (mice/rats/mosquitos/roaches!!!)...I went onto travelocity and found the Kempinski hotel and within minutes booked it and took a taxi there....it was a complete turnaround from the previous hotel!!!! I was so exhausted from my long travel, and the staff was so friendly, and helpful--the kind of customer service that is rare to find these days! I will always book here at...

Although Holiday Inn Deshengmen was pricier than the other hotel in my trip, it was beautiful, clean, spacious and relaxing room. The above-head over sized shower was fantastic, and large vanity space in the bathroom had enough space for two people to get ready for a formal evening! The tasteful decor, crisp linens and fluffy towels were welcoming after a long flight and program. Overall, we had a great experience at the Sunworld Dynasty Hotel. We book Executive level rooms with the breakfast. Upon arrival we found out that Executive level rooms are allowed to have breakfast at the main hotel dining facility with a large breakfast buffet or at the Executive lounge. The executive lounge was a much smaller selection for breakfast but was a quite setting with a little more personal attention. Stayed in Beijing three days after the end of a SE Asian cruise. Hotel staff were professional, courteous, and fluent in English. Buffet breakfast was included with vast selection of both western and Asian food. The hotel was new, very modern (beautiful), but we noticed few spots and things that were not cleaned to the same standards to which we are accustomed. This could Just be how it is in China. Nevertheless we had a great stay, would recommend this hotel to others, and would stay there...

Got a free upgrade to a suite, the room was absolutely gorgeous and spacious. We stayed for 6 days, hotel is closed to everything, Walmart, restaurants, shopping centers and theater all within walking distance. Hotel has a nicely equipped gym as well as a huge swimming pool. Overall we're really happy with our stay. Definitely will stay here again next time in Beijing.

Hotel itself was very easy to find, but finding the entrance at first was a bit confusing. But after that was no problem--staff was professional and friendly, the facilities and the room were excellent, and many nearby stores and restaurants in case you needed anything.

If you want a hotel where you can find restaurants, taxis and easy access to the subway, then this is the hotel to stay at while in Beijing. The hotel is also in a section of the city where signage is in Chinese and a English, which is helpful if your Chinese is not very good.
