The Anchorage Hotel

"We were checked in by a new owner who had been there only a few months. He was very helpful, friendly and approachable. The room (a family room) was quite spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable. The decor was a bit dated but fine for what we wanted. Breakfast was good and the room looked over a lovely bay. We had car aprking outside our door. The hotel bar was spacious and had a very efficient and enthusiastic local man serving. Local bars, restaurants and shops were 30 - 40 mins walk away, approx 1.5 miles, and were set in the picturesque area of Trearthur Bay. We very much enjoyed our time at The Anchor Inn and would definitely return."

"Stunning Chateaux but our room was in the lodge on the property but very nice, but not told it was not in the chateaux, sea view. Bathroom was a separate room but not a problem Lovely gardens, not really a private beach as expected but had a lovely overnight stay."

"Beautiful hotel but a bit worn in ares, in particular ratling windows. Staff extremly helpful and friendly especially the breakfast ladies and reseptionist. When we first booked with a voucher from Hotels.com Julia was extremely helpful."

"Amazing hotel. Rooms are spacious and the Indian food was excellent. The location is fantastic. The only small down side was access to the rooms. That’s a lot of steps with luggage. Overall five stars. Top class"
