Wish we had more time! This place is clean, modern, beautiful, and in a great location. Breakfast was included and had so many options. Pool area looked inviting but we had no time and temperatures were falling. A bit of trouble locating the front desk and staff didn’t seem to notice. Not a typical check in desk. Gorgeous hotel right in the center of the old town. Perfect location. The property is top notch but what really makes this a world class hotel is the staff. Great hotel, location wise, only problem is they use an elevator for your car if you bring one. The breakfast should be included after the price people pay for the rooms. In Spain they criticize Capitalism, but I think they are worst, plus they don’t staff accordingly. Exploitation
The hotel is right in the heart of the old part of town. We stayed during the first day of the Rioja Wine Festival (highly recommend!) and you barely could hear the drummers of the parade when the windows were closed; open and you were in the thick of it! Externally comfortable and spacious room. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here when we return.
Our stay here during the Fiestas de San Mateo was amazing! The room was lovely, bed and pillows comfortable, and the daily breakfast was great. A wonderful location, walking distance to everything, we never needed our car. The staff was welcoming and helpful with info about the festival and recommendations for restaurants etc.

The staff, a middle aged man at the reception we want to highlight first as he is THE FACE of the place and was such a great help. We arrived early and he still processed our check-in already, even as the room was not ready yet. He offered to keep our luggage in a safe place and we explored the town and the great Calle Laurel. Price was incredible and my room was so big with a full kitchen, couch, 2 TVs, and of course a nice bed. It even had fully-electronic blackout blinds for those who like to sleep in darkness. Incredible value
The location was very convenient right in the walking street of downtown the room where be special breakfast for very nice. The parking lot was very close to the hotel so it was a nice place to stay.
The staff was absolutely wonderful and so accommodating. We had a very early train on our last day and they took the time to prepare a part of breakfast and coffee and tea for us before breakfast was available. Our time here was so relaxing.
