Comfortable, convenient & excellent boutique hotel choice in Ormaiztegui half way in the Basque Country between Bilbao and San Sebastian by car or else. Their very friendly manager & owner welcome, as well as attention to detail and a tasty breakfast including local traditional cakes he bakes himself, and more simple amenities are there to enjoy by guests.
Lovely Hotel positioned in the middle of the town and in the heart of the mountains. 4 star quality at 3 start prices. The breakfast was excellent, as were the pinxos served by the bar. The room was well decorated and spacious. Everything in this small town is within walking distance and all of Basque Country is close due to the highway through town. I would certainly stay here again!
Oscar speaks no English, but that was NO problem. Very accommodating and funny. We would have spent more time, but schedule did not allow.
Breakfast was ready for us in the morning, and all the coffee we wanted.

A perfect location in a smaller beach town with an infinity pool that overlook the bay and offer a few minute walk to the beach. The boutique Hotel has an amazing organic aesthetic, and amazing interiors and external gardens. Breakfast is incredible with an amazing group of two folks that go above and beyond on service, so kind and are ahead of you on any need. Me gustaría que pusieran un poco mas de iluminación, cuando llegas tarde en ella noche la puerta esta cerrada con un tornillo y hay mucha oscuridad, solo se enciende la luz de la entrada del Hostel cuando estas cerca.
The room with a view was spectacular. We were comfortable and enjoyed watching the surfers and sunset.This was a very peaceful and restful stop for us.
Such a cool place to stay. Not having anyone to talk to was a little weird and the elevator is super slow but the room was incredible. I made some friends at the restaurant/bar right across from this place and took a bus right by here to get to my next city. The train is close by too. 10/10 would recommend and plan to stay here again.
A wonderful spot to rest and recharge for a few days - the thalasso was a unique touch and it was wonderful to have so many amenities on sight. The front desk staff were especially kind.
