"Excellent experience! The hotel is magnificent and the springs are beautiful. The hotel did not feel very crowded. However, there were quite a few families so given the price it did not provide an exclusive experience. That being said, the staff was super friendly, the rooms were massive (perhaps a bit outdated) and the food was good!"

"Very beautiful property, room was spacious , food was good. Front desk Staffs are okay. - they did their job but not as welcoming or accommodating as staffs in other resorts in Carribean. And don’t expect early check in, the front desk have us wait till 3pm to check in ( I guess the room was ready before check in , I was waiting at the lobby, but they didn’t notify me the room was ready until I ask them if it was ready at 3pm. Restaurant staffs were really nice and excellent service. I think I will not come back to Costa Rica, rather go to DR or Cancun for my next trip. I recommend this resort who are planning to visit La Fortuna. "

"The staff was very welcoming and friendly our whole stay. We enjoyed the many offerings from buffet breakfast including pancakes, made to order omelettes and fresh fruit. The room was a decent size with a large bathroom and felt very private. We especially liked the balcony and could sit out in the rain to watch the birds and look down at the beautiful gardens. "

"Birding is spectacular. The grounds and trails are amazing. So many plants and animals. Beautiful views. Rooms are basic but clean. Food at the restaurant for dinner is average but service was consistently great. Breakfast was better. Overall service was excellent."
