My favorite hotel and country (Austria) during my Belgium-Luxemburg-France-Switzerland-Germany trip. This hotel is located in the small town of Zirl, minutes away from Innsbruck. It looks like a high class hotel, with an excellent restaurant connected to it, where you can have a complete breakfast (included in my rate), lunch or dinner. II was lucky to find the Leipziger Hof hotel through Expedia. It was my first business trip to Innsbruck and I spent 6 wonderful days in this hotel. Situated in very quite street, yet close to City center and convenient transportation and spectacular view of the Alps. The hotel personnel are very professional , friendly and helpful. The menu in the restaurant is excellent and the hotel offer a delicious variety on the breakfast menu.

The Parkhotel Matrei has some of the most attentive and friendly staff I’ve met. The hotel gave off “home” feelings and not commercial hotel. The convenience of a front parking lot, gas station & grocery nearby was great and the rooms were perfect size for me and my many bags, as well as a space for me to get my work done. I was also given a holiday gift bag because they knew I’d be alone for the holiday. Just a great place, words don’t do them justice. Definitely will be returning some day!
