A great new and modern hotel in the center of Lisbon. Our room was very small and not sure if it was the size I had reserved. The size was fine for us for 2 night since we weren't in the room much. Our room had no view - looked into another room. This was fine for us because it was dark for sleeping and very quiet. I would stay here again if visiting Lisbon.
Our experience at this Vila was amazing from the moment we walked through the door. We were sat at the front desk and given orange juice while we waited to be checked in. The costumer service is amazing and everyone treated us like royalty. After checking in we were given a tour of the hotel which was beautiful and breathtaking (the photos online do not do this hotel justice). After spending the day in our beautiful hotel room we went to the front desk and asked if there was anywhere good around...
The hotel is absolutely gorgeous! And the restaurant had incredible food and service. Overall, this place is lacking in nothing. I plan to return again some day.
Lapa Palace was always THE hotel destination in Lisbon and it STILL is. With all the competition from a burgeoning boutique hotel scene and the hideous AirBnb, Lapa manages to maintain a standard of exceptional quality. Friendly staff, gorgeous accommodations and ground, spacious rooms and top-line amenities, this hotel cannot be beat. It's location in the sleepy yet bucolic neighborhood of Embassies gives it charm and solitude, but may disappoint those craving frenetic nightlife just outside...
Wonderful place! The ming size bed was nice and to US standards. The location is great. And most importanly the staff was exceptionally nice and accommodating!
It was a fantastic hotel. The location can't be better and the hotel staffs were very helpful and polite. We could walk around the old Alfama area. We also got tips form the hotel reception. We had a early check out and the hotel staffs arranged breakfast box for us. Would certainly recommend this hotel for everyone.
I thought this hotel was perfect for families! The bunk bed rooms are ideal and a great use of space for our family of 4. The kids thought it was really fun and we had plenty of room for all. We also loved the rooftop pool and bar space, especially after a long day of touring around. It’s very family friendly and convenient. We were able to walk to several restaurants and had some fun shopping in the neighborhood. I would highly recommend this hotel if you like staying away from city center...
This was easily the best hotel we have stayed at around the world for service. Everything else was top notch as well. Ricardo and Leonel helped us with dinner reservations and transportation. Their recommendations made our anniversary stay unbelievable and something we'll never forget. I truly am appreciative of their service. The food was excellent at the hotel and staff in the dining hall was outstanding. The location was amazing as you can walk right around the corner and be in the history...
The hotel is one of the most beautiful places that I ever stayed. Fantastic location, exceptional service throughout Immaculately clean in the middle of old town but still very quiet. I can't wait to return.

We stayed 9 nights in this extraordinary hotel in the heart of Lisbon.
First, this 35 room hotel has been entirely restored to its original Art Deco form, including cork floors in the room, beautiful marquetry floors in the lobby, elegant furniture and art work in the lobby and bar. Also the sleek, elegant Art Deco door handles (that are beautiful but not so easily grasped).
There is a spectacular breakfast every morning, including traditional Portuguese staples like sardines in olive oil...
this hotel was perfect in every way , excellent location very clean and modern rooms in a 300 year old building . our room looked over a very busy street with a view of the famous arch . the street lined with restaurants was noisy with the window open but once closed we could not hear anything . very nice breakfast and the front desk people were very helpful and freindly . will stay here next visit
