Loved this hotel...the staff was so friendly and the property itself was beautful! The gardens and pool/beach were the perfect setting and the breakfast buffet was excellent. I really like Bophut beach....good water for swimming and on the quieter side..Fishermans Village is a short walk by beach or road and full of good shops and restaurants. Rooms are very nicely decorated and each with their own little patios...I knocked 1 star off the room as we would have preferred the bathroom area more...

Every aspect of the facility and our experiences there were outstanding. The only suggestion I would make is regarding dairy housekeeping. The staff are wonderful but they are provided with a broom rather than a vacuum cleaner for cleaning. The result is some accumulation of dust etc in the corners and remote areas of the room. Understanding that speed of turnover is important, but in light of the low cost and high availability of labor, hiring additional workers and purchasing vacuum cleaners...

Tangsai bay resort is a environmentally beautiful relaxing place. We had a mountain side villa which was spacious and romantic with huge outside deck and comfortable large living room bedroom and bathroom area. Clean and comfortable beautiful view of sea. Staff couldn't have been nicer. Only criticism is that no air conditioning in any of the restaurants although the food was plentiful and tasty. Overall strongly recommend it.

Excellent stay and would return. Staff were so helpful providing tips and suggestions to make our stay better. Pool was beautiful; on site restaurant food was great as well as pool-side service. The view out to the ocean from the restaurant was magical. The Pandora Cafe, 7-11, and ATMs across the street were so good and convenient. Rooms were spacious and really appreciated the availability of filtered water.

We were met on arrival with a cool drink and an ice-cold towel. The front desk staff were efficient and friendly. The restaurant staff served us with a smile, enthusiasm and great care. Friendly, excellent staff, especially the staff at the restaurant. Great location right on the beach. Hotel was very clean and well maintained. Only one complaint... try as I might, I was never able to get the shower to run warm... kept changing from scorching hot to cool and back. Maybe just my room? Otherwise, this was an excellent resort. Would definitely stay here again if I get back to Ko Samui.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Sareeraya Villas & Suites. The hotel and rooms are in great shape, while the staff is very helpful. The location is about a 10 minute walk (or a very cheap taxi ride) from the main strip of restaurants and bars.
