We really enjoyed our stay at the Magnolia hotel. The boutique hotel is beautiful and the location is great, right in the middle of downtown Santiago and within walking distance to most attractions, yet very quiet. Hotel Brasilia was good value for the money. It is centrally located. Visitors might be surprised by the number of graffitis in the area, but it is safe. We walked all the time during the day. The hotel followed the COVID-19 protocols quite well. Mask is required, and breakfast is brought to the room. The staff has always been helpful.

The hotel was and the staff was very helpful. We had a ride to the airport booked with the desk but when it wasn't on time, the staff wanted to book us with their own costlier ride. They claimed not to know what the ride - Viptour- was. Glad the ride showed up 20 min late. and we didn't rebook with the hotel for twice+ the cost. Clean, classic hotel with great service. Very convenient to central city sights, but also on the fringe of a sketchy neighborhood. Unfortunately the locals choose to express their selves with lots of graffiti along the streets, which distracts from the charm of the hotel and area.
Warm Chilian hospitality-balked at welcoming us after all nighting into Santiago from Miami-but "rushed " our room ready within two hours of arrival. Not only is this a beautiful boutique hotel, the staff is amazing! I usually stay in hostel’s when I travel abroad, but I’d had enough. If you’re traveling solo, you never feel alone here. Everyone went above and beyond to make my stay pleasant. The management is amazing , the concierge is attentive, the restaurant staff and housekeeping are all great. The area is in walking distance to restaurants, shopping, activities, and public transportation. I highly recommend!
