Privado was so cute and safe to stay inside the walled city. It is a must to stay here, it is walkable to everything. The best thing is that the walls are sound proof so you are able to sleep in and any noise or party going on outside you won’t hear. Staff is so sweet and so helpful with restaurants ect around the area. You are a short 5-7 min walk to the clock tour and downtown area. I will be returning back and staying at privado with my family.

Great place. Relaxing pool. Impeccable service…sometimes almost too attentive. Room was lovely. Recommend the deluxe room with butler service. The butler made so many last-minute dinner reservations for us at the most popular places in town.
If you’re staying in the Walled City in Cartegena stay here! This property is amazing, with bright, clean & comfortable rooms. There’s a perfect view of the sunset from the rooftop and the outdoor terrace is great for enjoying breakfast (also amazing!!). It’s a small property so the service is personalized and their attention to detail is amazing. It’s also a superb location as you’re within the walled city but it’s not quite as rowdy and the central area can get at night.

Central to main attractions without being in the midst of crazy sounds. Very safe location. Great breakfast. Clean pools (although we had to tell them twice to clean to rooftop one). I used to stay in Bocagrande area, because I was a bit skeptical about staying in the walled city due to high level of noise. This hotel is the best of the best in this sense. The location is perfect, the rooms are nice and modern. The personnel is very amiable, friendly and kind and always willing to help you with everything you need. I did not take any of the cabs that are associated to the hotel because they were more expensive than regular cabs, however, the security guard on duty did not...
The staff is amazing, and the place is very cool and pretty; it’s is an old house (1752!) converted to an hotel with only 12 rooms. Very convenient to everything and very comfortable place to stay.
Hotel was very nice and located in the middle of it all. Close to many restaurants and shopping. Very charming inside and outside, keeping the charming decor of the local streets. All the staff was so nice and friendly, we felt like the only people there. I think the small size makes it more personal.
