The bed was huge, a little too big for the size of the room but the room was clean. The room was cute, kind of the old village style atmosphere. The view of the lake was beautiful and the complimentary breakfasts were "delightful"! Ginger shots, caviar, and fresh fruit smoothies daily. It's about 40 miles from the city which is a challenge for taxi service but the staff was extremely friendly. I enjoyed my stay.
We were welcomed by the staff who offered us refreshments while we checked in and then were walked to the lift. The room was beautiful and clean. If in this area again I will stay here again.
The location is ideal for exploring Bryggen and greater Bergen. The front desk staff (including Marieke and anders) were all so helpful and kind. The young man who worked in the evenings (long blond hair, didn’t catch his name) made excellent G&Ts! We loved the meals and fika was delightful. It was such a lovely, cozy stay.

The staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast was wonderful . The weight room was so much better than 90% of other hotels and open 24/7 which helped with my time zone adjustment. Clean, well positioned in the city.
Perfect location, right by the Julemarkd and a short walk to the things I wanted to do. I was very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. I would recommend the Hotel Norge highly and will stay there again.

A single room is very simple (classic for Europe). No chair and no closet. It is what I expected. One thing could be improved. The "hot" shower was a "warm" shower.
