"We upgraded from a cosy room to a superior room. The room itself was lovely, though quite small and the bathroom had a roll top bath. The room was extremely clean and the decor was lovely. However, I would say that there was little space to put any of our things, little surface space in the bedroom and the bathroom. Our room was on the top floor; we were asked before arrival whether we had an problem with stairs, and there were quite a few levels to go up so be aware of this. I do have one gripe! There was a constant humming noise in our room, I expect coming from the extractor fan that was outside the bedroom window. We did put up with it but for anyone who likes silence, it would have drove you round the twist. There was a small radio on in our room when we arrived; so wondering if that was to disguise it. I assume this humming noise would have been heard in the rooms either side of us as well. We were in Room 20. Again, lovely room, was let down by the noise."
"This is a cheap and cheerful hotel so expect to get exactly what you pay for which is a comfy bed and bathroom facilities.
UHT milk on both nights was off so couldn’t have morning cuppa, no cold water as it was running warm, could turn shower on but had a fight to turn it off!!
Best part an unidentified fire alarm at 5.45am on first night.
Would I stay here again definitely not !!"
"Lovely breakfast and choice of bar food. Close to the beach and shopping centre. Nice room with balcony overlooking the sea. Parking available nearby and you can get a token from reception."
"The hotel is useful as a basic stop over.
Room was basic, decor requires attention in terms of cleaning and renovation.
Parking was £6 per day although the staff didn’t tell me that on street parking is free on Sunday so I wasted money.
The water supply for the shower was weak and only reached tepid and exciting the shower was cold. I am not going back to this hotel again."
"Lovely location on the beach front. Very large room overlooking the beach. Some of the staff seemed to be preoccupied- could have been more attentive."
