Very beautiful property. Excelleservice. You feel like home with a very sumptuous breakfast and lot of food and fruits. The owner is fully involved to meet and greet and help the guests. Apart from 2 cabins, there are 8 rooms that are air conditioned. Great for sols travelers.

Wow this place was amazing. Fantastic hosts. Good location close to town. Nice rooms with fast wifi, air conditioning, and all the TV channels and Netflix you could watch. Plus they serve you a great welcome drink and a killer breakfast. I just wish we would have found it sooner

Highly Recommend this hotel, beautiful grounds. Nature all around. The owner is very nice and accommodating. Room is very clean. Next to the hotel there is a restaurant named Johanna's. It is delicious, we recommend the Sopa De Mariscos, or seafood soup. It is cream based. Also the Caribbean fish fillet.

We enjoyed our four nights here! The staff was so helpful and quick to respond. The room was a little small, but the bed was comfortable, air conditioning was great and there was plenty of hot water. It's a very short walk to the beach, and the beach was gorgeous! We will be back!

We came during Feb 2016. First of all we were welcome by the front desk staff who were very courteous and nice. We were upgraded to a junior suit: really large room, all white with nice details in blue, confortable king bed, sofa, coffee table, desk and balcony/deck with 2 chairs and a small table. So we booked hotel room for 4 people and we got 4 queen size beds. That was unusual but ended up very comfortable. We had apartment with kitchen and hall. The pool was small but refreshing after all day hiking or ocean salt. It is about 18 mins walk to the beach so that was not as cool. I have ne er seen these huge bamboo trees. Over all very good stay.

Never having been to Costa Rica before, I was hesitant of committing to anything. I chose Puerto Viejo due to it being their dry season in September. We could not have been luckier choosing the area and the hotel! The hotel was well cared for and the staff was unbelievably helpful and kind. We got in very late after our 6 hour drive from San Jose, and of course were a little cranky, and the staff went out of their way to help us settle in so late. We LOVED our stay at Los Continentes! We reserved two cabins and they fit our family's needs perfectly. We loved the location and Juan was great at helping us with our needs and even scouting out sloths and other animals on the property for us. Definitely recommend this place!

We just spent 5 nights here and loved every minute there. Nice & quiet space, yet close to markets & beaches.

This was a beautiful, literally just opened (only 4 weeks at the time of our stay) hotel. With literally no available reviews, we took a chance on staying here vs the more established Le Cameleon hotel and we were not disappointed. Upon arrival we were greeted by the lovely Lauren who offered us very refreshing and delicious cocktails. Check-in was very quick and efficient and we were shown the amenities of the lush property which included a small spa, pool, and very nice "high end"...

Let me start by saying we had originally planned on staying only two nights, but then left our highly rated and fully paid for hotel to return to this gem. Why? It is new, immaculate, beautiful, with ice cold AC, large shower with plenty of hot water, a well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, private patio with hammocks ( and hot coffee waiting each am), sloths, parrots, kinkajous, a private path to the beach, beautiful gardens and pool, delicious big breakfast, really wonderful staff, attention...

Stunning accommodations with the truly most fabulous staff. Your every wish is met and zero details left unturned. We had the ocean villa and it was super quiet, absolutely gorgeous and had every amenity. The food was delicious, we recommend dinner on the beach. Allejandro, Milena & Elvin went above & beyond to make our stay extra special & memerable. The beach is so relaxing and sloth viewing added to our enjoyment! A must visit hotel!!

This is a great boutique hotel. The staff is great and since it’s a small hotel, you feel like family. The grounds and room are updated very nicely. The beach is beautiful and quiet, only a short 2 minute walk from the hotel. The restaurant and bar is excellent. I didn’t want to eat anywhere else because the food was so good.

The staff at the Beachfront Bungalows were very accommodate. The food was excellent. Customer service was on a different level…” Pura Vida” And to culminate my stay , they were offering free peticure to celebrate Mother’s Day . It was a most excellent stay.
