Highly Recommend this hotel, beautiful grounds. Nature all around. The owner is very nice and accommodating. Room is very clean. Next to the hotel there is a restaurant named Johanna's. It is delicious, we recommend the Sopa De Mariscos, or seafood soup. It is cream based. Also the Caribbean fish fillet.

Wow this place was amazing. Fantastic hosts. Good location close to town. Nice rooms with fast wifi, air conditioning, and all the TV channels and Netflix you could watch. Plus they serve you a great welcome drink and a killer breakfast. I just wish we would have found it sooner
We came during Feb 2016. First of all we were welcome by the front desk staff who were very courteous and nice. We were upgraded to a junior suit: really large room, all white with nice details in blue, confortable king bed, sofa, coffee table, desk and balcony/deck with 2 chairs and a small table. We enjoyed our four nights here! The staff was so helpful and quick to respond. The room was a little small, but the bed was comfortable, air conditioning was great and there was plenty of hot water. It's a very short walk to the beach, and the beach was gorgeous! We will be back!
Never having been to Costa Rica before, I was hesitant of committing to anything. I chose Puerto Viejo due to it being their dry season in September. We could not have been luckier choosing the area and the hotel! The hotel was well cared for and the staff was unbelievably helpful and kind. So we booked hotel room for 4 people and we got 4 queen size beds. That was unusual but ended up very comfortable. We had apartment with kitchen and hall. The pool was small but refreshing after all day hiking or ocean salt. It is about 18 mins walk to the beach so that was not as cool. I have ne er seen these huge bamboo trees. Over all very good stay.
We LOVED our stay at Los Continentes! We reserved two cabins and they fit our family's needs perfectly. We loved the location and Juan was great at helping us with our needs and even scouting out sloths and other animals on the property for us. Definitely recommend this place!
