Beautiful room with AC!! And located in Testaccio with many great restaurants, bars and gelato shops. If you are using the bus system many bus stops are just a few streets away and get you to the main areas very quickly. Overall would stay with Bob again the room was so clean and so nice to come back to a cold room after a hot day outside.
From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Check-in was smooth and quick, and we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary early check-in. It was a wonderful stay. The hotel is historic. It ‘s location is perfect. A bit outside of the hubbub, but close enough for easy access. Great restaurants, shopping and historical landmarks are all there. The hotel is clean, the staff accessible. The breakfast staff, and we particularly mention Mariana, were so kind and helpful. They all spoke English which was helpful as did the reception staff. Breakfasts were perfect. Many options of hot or cold food, All good.

We really enjoyed relaxing in the spa after a long day traveling and sight seeing. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom had a very large walk in shower. They allowed us to check our luggage in the early am so we could site see. The shuttle runs in the hour, dropped off right by Vatican City, and only cost 1.5E
I stayed five nights in this hotel in early May of 2023. 2 min. to Colosseo. Perfect location, clean and tidy settings. Even though it is marked as four star hotel, I would give five star.
