Place was new and very clean. Food was plentiful and good. Notmu h to do on this small island except relax. Owner gave free boat ride to sand bar which we appreciated.

We had a short but excellent stay at Westsands. The staff were friendly and always accommodating not only with us but other guests. Musab, the hotel manager was in contact with us before out trip and answered all my questions about activities, currency, etc. The room was cleaned twice a day and had all the typical conveniences. We decided to book our honeymoon at Veligandu just 4 weeks before our wedding and we could not be any happier. I did a lot of research on the different Islands and types of resorts in the Maldives and decided that Veligandu had everything we wanted for much cheaper than some of the other islands.

What an amazing property - the rooms were amazing the breakfasts delicious the beach superb and the service - impeccable. This is such a better option than going for the resorts it’s wonderful staying on a local island - this is my 5th trip to Maldives and I’ll only do local islands and this is definitely one of the top properties on a local island. The jet boat transfer was affordable and timed well.
