"Perfect to stay the night before an early flight. Near the airport. About 45 minutes outside Reykjavik. About 20 minutes away from the Blue Lagoon. Easy to get a taxi from town to the Blue Lagoon on our last day in Iceland, then again to the Courtyard Hotel. The hotel even has 2 great restaurants on site, so dinner, then an early bedtime before our flight. They have a shuttle to the airport, but only for Bonvoy members , so apply before you get there, so you can give them your number."

"Much better than anticipated! Pods are unconventional. Like big Tupperware containers but surprisingly comfortable and very warm. The bathrooms were shared, but individual bathrooms with showers. They were kept very clean. All of the guests were quiet and respectful of others."

"The room was okay, however there was a heavy smell of smoke and even after opening the window, the smell remained. Its quite a small room that I stayed in so wouldn't recommend for two people. 10 minutes away from the airport by car. "

"The room it self was warm and spacious. Bathroom had underfloor heating and a good shower. Kids loved the bunk bed. However, the kitchen was under refurbishment and as such there was no breakfast service. Our booking had breakfast included and it was a disappointment that we couldn't have one. There was a table with some food in the hallwa, but no dishes other than a couple of teacups and the same milk cartons we noticed the night before. So we didn't risk it. "
