Located in Sporz, just above Lenzerheide... Surrounded by an incredible nature with breathtaking views on mountains and valleys! Incredible hotel composed by several typical chalets refurbished with all the modern comfort and a cosy atmosphere. Staff is really nice, available and helpful in every situation... Spas is totally worth it.

A wonderful find on our way to Zermatt! I wish we could have stayed longer. Everything was efficient, clean, and charming. The breakfast was stellar and the location is incredibly convenient to the train station. We didn’t get to use the spa, but it looked gorgeous. Don't hesitate to book!
We had a double mountain room and it was spacious and clean. The hotel is newer and in a beautiful location with great views and very close proximity to bus stop. Everyone who worked at the hospital was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious with a variety of offerings (and with a big buffet area and two coffee makers, it never felt crowded even when the hotel was full). The hotel is brand new and conveniently located close to the highway. We had a high room away from the elevator as requested, with modern design and a nice view with huge windows.
There is a shopping mall in the building complex.
Breakfast was good but somewhat limited in choice.
If you plan to drive there, call in advance and clarify the situation for parking. There are only 10-15 spots which seem quite less than the amount of rooms available in the hotel.

What can I say other than I had an incredible 5 night stay!
I enjoyed the included wonderful breakfast spread, hiking 3 days with the included hotel hiking guide, going to the Wellness area, afternoon treats. They will also pick guests up at the Pontresina train station. I had such a marvelous time at Hotel Walther, that I will be going there again next year but for a longer stay.
Muriel, (I think I spelled it right) was exceptional with answering all our questions and needs.
Also the three course diner was outstanding.

I booked this hotel because of its wonderful reviews and it did not disappoint. I spent the night here to catch the Glacier Express. A shuttle is available to and from the train station for 12 Chf each way. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was newly renovated. I arrived a few minutes early so I waited on my room on a beautiful terrace with a spectacular view of the lake. Breakfast was great as well.
About a 2 minute ride from the Pontresina train station. We took the train from Lucerne to Pontresina en route to Milan. Beautiful train ride. The property is brand new and staff super accommodating. Superior room was spacious and had a beautiful balcony with amazing mountain views. Dinner on property was excellent and reasonable. Bar was nice and offered several beers from local brewery along with full liquor and menu. Trails right outside front door, staff super friendly and helpful. ...
