"Great experience, staff is amazingly friendly, Helen is a great host. Breakfast is home made, fresh and generous, very flavourful.
Our room was a bit small, it needed more closet space (it didn’t have any!), fridge could use some maintenance.
Location is great for beach access, although very steep in the last segment, you absolutely need a bellboy for large pieces of luggage.

"The property was fabulous! Lounge chairs and beach chairs to relax. The breakfast buffet with fresh fruit, buns, cheeses, deli meats, cereals and eggs to order was delicious. Coffee and cakes also served in the afternoon. Great value. We highly recommend Pousada Ancoradouro!"
"We’d highly recommend this hotel!! It was situated on a private cove, surrounded by lush rainforest. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel stay was serene and relaxing. It was a quiet escape from the busy town, that is easily accessible by a 10 min boat ride. "
"This was a very pleasant stay and good location. The room was clean. However, the bathroom needs some work as there was an unpleasant smell coming from the toilet and shower."
"Honestly the people who own this accommodation were wonderful and welcoming. Really enjoyed meeting them. Also great to have kitchen equipment, a hammock and large accommodation which was close to Abrao port. There were a few bugs which they happily cleaned away, but which later returned. Wasn't an issue for me but worth watching out for.
