"Les Lezards is nestled into one of the quieter (and beautiful) streets of lively Getsemani, but not far from the action; it's perfectly located. We stayed in the Las Islas Premium Suite and were very impressed with it. Don't let the "Premium" tag scare you either—at the time we booked it, it was very reasonably priced, including a lavish bathroom (huge shower with bench), rooftop terrace overlooking the old city, and a jacuzzi atop the terrace. I quite enjoyed the fact that the bathroom had openings, including in the shower, that let in the warmth of Cartagena's tropical climate—it made for really enjoyable showers. What didn't make for wonderful showers, though, was the unpredictable and often weak water pressure, at least at the time of our stay. We were able to shower nonetheless so it wasn't a huge deal for us, but I felt it needed to be said for those who really would care about that sort of a thing; it doesn't seem like that's too uncommon a feature among the hotels you may be searching in this area. What overshadows small inconveniences like that are the amenities and the excellently attentive staff. Breakfasts were a highlight: a crew hangs around a kitchen in a common area all morning, ready whenever you'd like to sit down for breakfast, which you can have served to you in several sunny nooks around the place. I don't know if it can get much better than this accommodation when staying in Cartagena!"

"This hotel was an incredibly comfortable stay. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always helpful, which made the experience even better. Its location was perfect, right in front of the beach and close to many of the spots I wanted to explore. The food was phenomenal, and the ambiance throughout the property was amazing. There was a DJ every evening during dinner, which created such a fun, vibrant atmosphere. It was definitely a vibe. I would absolutely stay here again if I return to Colombia."

"El hotel necesita un updated urgente. La limpieza de la habitacion definitivamente puede mejorar. El piso muy sucio. El mini refrigerador no funcionaba, todo estaba caliente. Las habitaciones cuya ventana da para exterior, se escucha demasiado ruido hasta altas horas de la noche/madrugada. El personal joven de recepcion no son muy amables. Poco simpaticos para ser de recepcion. Deben trabajar inmediatamente con eso, ya que son la primera cara del huesped. Escuche como hablan de manera despectivas de otros huespedes. Muy desagragable. Solo un señor de recepcion fue amable conmigo en las noches brindandome hielo para mi habitacion. Ahora bien, el desayuno fue muy bueno y variado. Muy delicioso. El personal del desayuno es muy atento, muy servicial y muy amable. Por lo demas, puedo comentar que lo unico que tiene bueno eate hotel es la ubicacion y el desayuno. Por lo demas no lo recomiendo."
