We loved visiting Crystal River and will definitely be back! It was such an amazing experience getting to swim with the manatees and swim in the 3 Sisters Springs. We even got to see a stingray resting in one of the springs!

We come to Crystal River for scalloping every year and love it! We've also done the manatee tour. The local restaurants are delicious as well. Lots of amazing sea food!

Quaint town with lots of outdoor activities and some shopping. I absolutely love manatees so this being the home of manatees will always rate high on my list.

I was a little disappointed in 3 Sisters. The Springs are beautiful and when manatees are there worth the $20 PP but we paided $12.50PP for a hot miserable walk thru. You can't get in the water and nothing else to do but walk and very little shade.

Beautiful and tons to do. Just allow yourself extra days to see it all because afternoon showers make planning activities tough.

Along the highway, it's typical wall-to-wall Florida strip malls - fast and convenient, not quiet or pretty. One needs to get away from that highway to the water to see the natural beauty of the place. As noted, typical Florida.

The boating is amazing in this area. The city is a 30 years throwback in food and just about everything else. Best to stick with barbecue and hop on a boat.
"This boutique stay with a quaint charm was way more than expected. We knew it got good ratings, but we literary were amazed at the charm of this place. The room we had was amazing, staff was incredible, and the restaurant had incredible food. Our bed was very comfortable and the room was spotless. It was a sweet surprise after our long day of travel. We will definitely be back."
