5 Star Hotels in Maroma

Beautiful property. The Belmond Maroma is a small hotel set in a lush tropical garden along the beach. The common areas are gorgeous and the rooms are private and quiet. There are several serene pools and great seating & umbrellas on the beach. The staff are wonderful - friendly and helpful. The breakfast is divine and dinners excellent. The only downside is the seaweed on the beach which is an issue all along the Yucatan coast. The hotel rakes the beach clean each morning.

My wife, & I stay at The Edition Riviera Maya this past weekend for her birthday. The property was gorgeous, although the weather wasn’t. Unfortunately, it’s still the end of the hurricane season in Mexico. Thank God, we did get some sunshine though. The place is gorgeous! Every single person was warm, & kind to us. The prices for food, & drinks were expensive, be prepared! I believe they also said that they were holding $450 a night on my credit card, which I thought was unusually high, but I...

We stayed at Secrets Maroma for 7 nights and to say we had a great time is an understatement! We did stay in the Perferred Club Junior Suite Ocean View, building 16, and the view of resort and ocean was great! From the moment we arrived and until we departed, the service is outstanding throughout the resort-from the wait staff, bar tenders, front desk, and especially our conceirge-Emmanuel! Emmanuel was excellent- and took care of all our needs when needed! The food at all restaurants was...

Quiet, unique getaway

This was our second time there and we love it. So quiet, luxurious, attentive and serene. Aldo is an amazing head of butlers and is top notch. We miss our folks from the last time but he was still there and took great care of us. Seaweed is a concern for this whole carribean/gulf region but they work hard to control it. The seaweed was better this year. Likely environmental. You can't go wrong if you wave to relax and have peace. We are young there and we are mid 40's. Average age is...

Beautiful property! Great food! Excellent service!

Everything was amazing! The daily breakfast that was included was absolutely delicious! We highly recommend the French fries and guacamole pool side as well. Luis, our pool side attendant and Aram, our concierge, were top notch, along with everyone else that works there! Our only challenge was we weren’t aware it was a cashless resort, so we weren’t able to break our big bills for individual tips. We recommend you bring small bills ($1’s and $5’s) for tipping purposes!

This is an exceptional property!!! Very special and such a wonderful experience!!! highly recommend this property!!! we will be back!!! 5 stars!!! the Service and Staff were all exceptional and the dining was wonderful!

When the only complaint you can have about a place is that they are almost TOO attentive, then you are really staying at a true 5 star place. Everything here is first class and it is truly a very different experience from the typical Playa all inclusive places. First off, the grounds are beautiful. We stayed in a lagoon suite and to sit out on the deck and hear a myriad of birds singing and watch fish, turtles, (and crocs!) swim by was really a great experience. Almost feels like being...

Technically this wasn't a vacation, it was our honeymoon. I found this place on some Google list of top 10 most romantic honeymoon spots and it did not dissapoint. The grounds are beautiful. The staffs mission in life is to make sure you are happy and have everything you need. And it's not just for tips either, it's genuine. Whether you want to do nothing or everything, you will be pleased. We just got back and are already planning a return trip. The rooms are VERY private, no noise from other...

This property continues to hit way above it's benchmark, at least in terms of the deal I found. Service, accommodations, amenities, food, the entire experience is superb. Out of 5 stars, though, I'd deduct 1/2 star for the unhappy increase in the club or lounge music around the property. The 2-3 hour daily set at the bar is tolerable, especially if your room is removed from that area. The music at the general restaurant on the other hand has gotten louder, and installing the DJ every other...

Best food I have had at a resort in Mexico.

Very professional staff , I will definitely come back . Everyone welcomes you with smile . If u looking for all inclusive , you won’t be satisfied no all inclusive options . You have to pay for everything u do there my room had breakfast included . Jet ski was avg 67usd for 30 mins I had to pay 22 usd daily service charges . They have four resturant food quality is 5 to 7 stars . Avg launch or dinner per two adults and kid like 150 usd to 250 usd . Over all I am happy with my visit .

Stayed at the Zen resort. Great welcoming environment. Relaxing. pampered. Spa too expensive for what they offer, though. Excellent restaurants, although food somewhat scant in some of them (Piaff and, De Autor). Quality of drinks intermediate. Beaches resorts with excellent infinity pool and wet bar. Azul and Lucca best places to eat. Watch out at Piaf restaurant with sommelier trying to have you choose from an expensive list of wines not included in the "all inclusive". "All...

The service at the Viceroy is out of this world, every time we thought it couldn't get any better it did. I have extensive allergy issues and the chef and wait staff went so far out of their way to ensure I was well fed! The one downside was the bed was not all that comfortable but the rooms were large and clean and the private pool was to die for. The room service was terrible, as it is at most hotels, but the food at the restaurants was the best I've ever had and eating dinner on the beach...

The workers were excellent!! The food was excellent. The views were phenomenal. The Guanas are very friendly. Outside of the seaweed smell and pretty much no beach due to the seaweed, we had a great stay.

This place was a home away from home. I spent 9 days with my famiy and friends here and it was everything I expected. Staff is amazing, friendly and professional. We have been many times to CZM and stayed at many places but this has been one of the best of all. Everything was clean and neat, we felt safe at all times and the top pool view is wonderful. The staff was the highlight, thank you Kippal for making our vacation amazing!

This place is Heaven on Earth! Our original trip was supposed to be for 5 days and we had to extend 4 more day (awww poor us LOL) due to bad weather at DFW (worst ice/snow storm to hit DFW in 72 years). We had room 818 beautiful! We had a private pool and our own Butler David just moments from the beach bar and beach. When we had to extend we got room 909 right on the beach! No pool but did I mention right on the beach! Our service was spectacular, everybody was so friendly and helpful and...
