If you are interested in exploring Cornwall, this is a great location to do it from you are a short distance from the north and south coasts as well as the western end of the country. You have access to very good roads. On top of that, you will find yourself in a well appointed room being helped be an excellent staff. We’re vegetarians and we found very good meals.

Little boutique hotel slap bang on the slipway of the tiny bay with gorgeous view from the bar/restaurant. Attentive staff, excellent food both for breakfast and dinner. Cosy yet light and airy, contemporary feel without losing touch of the fact that's it is in a tiny fishing village. This is not an old or beautiful hotel, but its location at the edge of town means a 10min walk to the station, 25min into town centre (uphill returning!), and lovely rural views from the beer garden, or from your room if the large windows face in that direction.

The cobblestone parking was slightly challenging, and we weren’t expecting to be in a separate building from the inn, but the room was very comfortable and the large window had a great view which brightened up the space. The location was perfect, and the staff was pleasant and helpful. We appreciated that breakfast was included.
Very comfortable and spacious rooms. Even though it is on a main road, the double glazing kept out all noise making it very quiet at night. Comfortable large bedroom. Dinner at restaurant was comparable to any fine dining but in a relaxed atmosphere. The only drawback was the lack of an experienced bar staff.
