For our 4 nights in Cornwall we stayed at a very quaint Bed and Breakfast in Truro. Centrally located, it was a great place to stay and "wagon wheel" our day trips. Little boutique hotel slap bang on the slipway of the tiny bay with gorgeous view from the bar/restaurant. Attentive staff, excellent food both for breakfast and dinner. Very comfortable and spacious rooms. Even though it is on a main road, the double glazing kept out all noise making it very quiet at night. Breakfast menu is excellent, dinner menu likewise and the bar has an excellent choice of local ales and cider. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this inn

This is not an old or beautiful hotel, but its location at the edge of town means a 10min walk to the station, 25min into town centre (uphill returning!), and lovely rural views from the beer garden, or from your room if the large windows face in that direction.
